Accessibility
What to expect when you visit Glimmer Community Chapel, so you can plan ahead.
Parking
Four accessible spaces by the front doors on level concrete, and a drop-off under the covered entry.
Entrances
The front doors are step-free with a power-assisted door. The side door to the fellowship hall has a gentle ramp.
Seating
Pews are cut short at the front and middle on both sides for wheelchairs, with room for a companion. Chairs with arms are by the back row.
Restrooms
A single-user accessible restroom off the lobby, with a changing table, plus the men's and women's rooms by the fellowship hall.
Hearing and sight
A hearing loop covers the sanctuary; switch your hearing aid to T. Large-print bulletins and song sheets are at the door. Sermons are captioned on the screen.
Children and families
Nursery for children under four during Sunday school and worship, in Room 1 next to the lobby. Activity bags at the door for older children.
Service animals
Service animals are welcome everywhere. Water bowls are in the lobby.
Other details
The building is all one level. Evening events use red light outside for the dark-sky ordinance: the paths are marked with low red lights and greeters carry flashlights.
